Akansha (White Mules)

INSPIRATION:
For our newest mules, we chose to work with white leather. We were inspired by Rajmata Gayatri Devi- particularly her love for chiffon saris, soft pastel colours, and pearl jewellery. Her style was calm, clear, and thoughtful.
We also thought of Prince, and the white leather heels he wore on stage. The silhouette was bold, the colour was soft. That balance felt relevant to how we see people who wear Ugra.
White shoes are not very common in Indian everyday wear. We wanted to change that. We wanted to make a pair of white heels that feel easy to wear, simple to style, and made to last. This is where the idea started: a pair of white leather mules—clean, considered, and meant to go with you.
